The typical edgy design concept of the motorcycle makes it more sturdy and strong. The instrument cluster of the vehicle comes with a Multifunction digital dashboard with white backlight, composed of LCD segments for rev counter and a Dot-Matrix area for all other information: odometer (total, trip 1 and trip2), speedometer, clock, coolant temperature, selected riding mode, current fuel consumption, average fuel consumption, average speed, air temperature, trip time, maintenance intervals indicator (Km), errors detection (diagnosis), set up menu and customization functions. Interface for the management of Riding Modes (ABS, throttle response power, traction control). Lights: oil pressure, neutral N, fuel warning, turn signal, EOBD (diagnosis), high beam, DTC intervention (Traction Control) and deterrent immobilizer (in Key-Off). Headlight control: auto switching-off during engine start, auto turning-off after 60 seconds from Key-On without starting the engine, hazard lights.
The key management of the various function menus are integrated in the left and right switch controls. The all new Ducati Hypermotard SP comes with an 821.1cc, Testastretta 11° L-Twin, 4 Desmodromically actuated valves per cylinder, liquid cooled engine. The engine block of the motorcycle has an overall capacity to produce a maximum volume of 110hp (81kW) at the rate of 9250rpm and a net torque of 89 Nm (65.8 lb-ft) at the rate of 7750 rpm. An electronic fuel injection system with throttle bodies assisting full ride by a wire system finds place in the fuel injection system of the motorcycle. A single stainless steel muffler with catalytic converter and two lambda probes forms the exhaust of the motorcycle.
Transmission system of the motorcycle is assisted with a six-speed, straight cut gears in the ratio 1.85:1. Balance and stability of the motorcycle is assisted with a front Marzocchi 50 mm pressurized and fully adjustable USD fork with hard anodized aluminium lightweight slider and a rear Progressive linkage with fully adjustable Ohlins monoshock. Aluminium single-sided swing-arm suspension system of the motorcycle. The front and rear damping due to high air pressure at the time of high performance ride is also reduced with the assistance of the all new front and rear suspension system.
Wheels of the motorcycle is installed with a front and rear three spoke forged light alloys. Braking system of the vehicle comes with a 2×320 mm semi-floating discs, radially mounted Monobloc Brembo calipers, 4-piston 2-pad, axial pump with adjustable lever, ABS 9MP as standard brake callipers and a rear 245 mm disc, 2-piston caliper, ABS 9MP as standard brake callipers.
